100 Day Studio: The Polyvalent Studio at Margent Farm

Day 57 of the 100 Day Studio: The AJ Small Projects 2019 sustainability award winning project is presented by its student creators from post-graduate Unit 07 London Metropolitan University’s School of Architecture, Art & Design. The studio is a radically low carbon highly flexible space that can be built anywhere. The project was conceived within the parameters of the caravan act, meaning in most contexts it does not require planning permission. The unit was led by David Grandorge and Paloma Gormley of Practice Architecture The project was established within the context of Practice Architecture’s research into natural materials and low carbon construction techniques with projects such as Flat House.
