Architecture and Situated Technologies was a 3-day symposium presented by The Architectural League from October 19-21, 2006, that brought together researchers and practitioners from art, architecture, technology, and sociology to explore the emerging role of “situated” technologies in the design and inhabitation of the contemporary metropolis. Trebor Scholz is a co-organizer of Architecture and Situated Technologies. He is a media artist, theorist, and organizer, is the founder of the Institute for Distributed Creativity, and teaches media theory in the Department of Media Study at SUNY Buffalo.
