This roundtable is a conversation between an architect, a landscape architect, and a planner, all of whom are at the forefront of rethinking design studio culture and pedagogy. Studio is at the center of design education, but how studios are organized and taught very often follow century-old models that often are a poor fit for contemporary students and subjects and embody structures of privilege, exclusion, and whiteness. Towards an Inclusive + Equitable Studio Culture goes beyond subject matter (what we teach) to address how we teach and learn.
