It’s Thursday so that means a speed art process. It has been a while since I make a wacom tablet hand lettering video, and I do enjoy making typography art in Illustrator so I thought why not.
I used the expression ‘cheers’ and the fact that all of my amazing subscribers have enabled me to pass the 1k milestone to make this quick typographic logo design.
I first started off with the Wacom Tablet in Adobe Illustrator and used the device to create the ‘cheers’ part. I have improved somewhat with my hand lettering skills and so it did not take too many attempts to get it.
I then moved to editing the hand lettering with the pen and direct selection tool in Illustrator. Making typography art can be time consuming but if you enjoy it, it doesn’t matter too much about time.
After that I continued making the typography art in Photoshop and made a few compilations with it.
