In this video, I’ll show you How to Use ‘Common Tangent Script to Create Hofmann’s Tangents Shapes from his book ‘Graphic Design Manual: Principle and Practice’.
The Shapes are created by joining a grid of circles through tangent lines. But in Adobe Illustrator, drawing tangents is not easy. So, we use the script to do that.
The Common tangent script that Hiroyuki Sato created will draw common tangents to the selected curved lines. Check this link for the script
