Today I create some Illustrator digital logotype for the first time in a long time. You will see the process of a vintage digital logotype design in this video, something that I have never done before today.
This style of vintage logotype is fun to design and I suggest you have a go yourself at making some when you can. I sure did enjoy making the digital logotype in Illustrator and was proud with how it turned out.
The final design outcome is (in my opinion lol) some really cool looking digital logotype with Illustrator, which I feel fairly proud of designing. I was very keen to show the process of vintage logos in the way that I understood it in terms of using Illustrator in the modern day. This Illustrator digital logotype video is sentiment to that I feel.
I explore digital logotype using Illustrator for this video design project, I combine that with what I have learned about vintage logos to create this Illustrator digital logotype.
I started by researching into Adobe Illustrator logotype and vintage logos, looking into the style and methods of design in this section of graphic design and time period. I really wanted to grasp the vintage logotype feel and replicate that 100% with my very own logotype in Adobe Illustrator.
Then I took my ideas to a digital level by transferring them from paper into Adobe Illustrator. The entire vintage logotype in Illustrator project took me 2 days to complete, and I did enjoy it a lot.
I was very pleased with the final outcome and hope to embark on another vintage logotype or vintage badge design in the not too distant future.
I always design logotype in Adobe Illustrator, mainly because it uses a vector format which is ideal for designing logos and the logotype.
