The finale of The Young Guns Season 1 is here. How did the designers start? What are they doing now? Who won the series grand prize? What are the opportunities for a graphic designer?
In this episode, we take a look back at the mission of this show and see how the designers transformed in their personal and professional lives. This series was created as a way to teach design principles and creative mindset in a fun and scalable way, through a remote design competition.
It’s interesting to see the arc of how the designers develop through challenges and feedback. We learn a lot from our mistakes and fortunately, we were able to learn as the designers were learning. We also saw how they took very different approaches to their design process and how they worked through problems. They were able to refine their craft and take steps to becoming a better design thinkers.
