The 2016 shortlist includes, in order of appearance: ULTRAMODERNE / Yasmin Vobis + Aaron Forrest (Providence, RI); Escobedo SolĂ­z Studio / Lazbent Pavel Escobedo Amaral + Andres SolĂ­z Paz (Mexico City, Mexico); COBALT OFFICE / Andrew Colopy and Robert Booth (Houston, TX); Frida Escobedo Taller de Arquitectura (Mexico City, Mexico); and First Office / Andrew Atwood + Anna Neimark (Los Angeles, CA).
