Alberto Veiga (Barozzi Veiga Arquitectos) presents his practice’s design for a new home for Oolite Arts in Miami, the Spanish studio’s first ground-up project in the United States. Located in a suburban neighbourhood north of the city, the Barozzi Veiga design features a low-lying building with a series of towers that serve multiple purposes to improve the working environment of the artists.
A CENTURY OF THE ARTIST’S STUDIO
This lecture forms part of a new series exploring the rich typology of the artist’s studio and the challenges of delivering studio provision today. The series has been developed in partnership with the Whitechapel Gallery to coincide with their current exhibition ‘A Century of the Artist’s Studio 1920 – 2020’ which runs until 29 May 2022.
