Stylist Shirley Kurata has a signature look. Known for working with fashion favorites Rodarte since their runway debut in 2005, and celebrities from Lena Dunham to Zooey Deschanel, the LA native’s style is driven by a host of mid-century references and a passion for eco-friendly fashion. Making color blocking her own, Kurata’s penchant for dressing in uniform has caught on among friends and fans alike. In this film, Kurata’s longtime collaborators Julia Galdo and Cody Cloud, aka photography duo Juca, enlisted a host of faces for a game of dress up.
