Konrad Wachsman was born in 1901 and died November 25, 1980. He taught at USC 1964 to 1974.
Esther McCoy discusses her personal relationship with Konrad Wachsmann, and reviews his career in Europe before coming to the U.S. in 1941. Tommy Taylor presents a few images and comments on almost all of Wachsmann’s projects. Robertson Ward discusses buildings and places of the past that influenced Wachsmann, and Wachsmann’s projections of the future. The video cuts off before the end of the lecture.
