Toby Litt offers a personal view of Francis Bacon’s painting Figure in Movement 1985. Litt is a London-based writer, whose books include Corpsing, deadkidsongs , Exhibitionism, Finding Myself, and most recently Hospital, described by one critic as ‘an extraordinarily vivid comic nightmare, an apocalyptic vision for our own weird times’.
