What do they mean for urban design?
Paul Reynolds is a Chartered Landscape Architect, Urban Designer and founding Director at Urben – a specialist urbanism and placemaking consultancy based in London, UK. He has experience of complex urban regeneration and infrastructure projects across the UK, the Middle East and Africa.

He is Honorary Secretary and a past Chair of the Executive Committee of the UK Urban Design Group and an Expert Advisor on Urban and Landscape Design to the Northern Ireland Ministerial Advisory Group on Architecture and the Built Environment.

An advocate for the importance of design review as a way of helping to improve the quality of our built environment, he is chair of the London Borough of Hackney Design Review Panel as well as being a member of the London Borough of Islington and DesignSoutheast (DSE) Panels. He regularly contributes to professional journals, and has spoken at industry conferences around the world on topics including public realm design, regeneration and transit orientated development.
