heneghan.peng.architects has won numerous significant international design competitions, including the Carpenter’s Lock footbridge for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. In 1999, Heneghan and Peng were among the winners of the Architectural League’s Young Architects Forum. In this excerpt from Shih-Fu Peng’s lecture at the Urban Center in New York City, he discusses his firm’s design of the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
