We head to Cannes for the Mipim trade fair – the annual jamboree for the world’s property developers – to discover the crucial role that architects will play in building great estates for the future. We also meet British designer Thomas Heatherwick in Singapore and, from Breton tops to Jean-Paul Gaultier, we look at the influence of the maritime world on fashion.
