Las Vegas, United States

SACO Technologies Inc.

Montréal, Canada, 2019-04-25 –

SACO Technologies Inc. was honored to win best in Specialty Solid-State Lighting (SSL) Design category for its Shockwave V-Stick S + S2 fixtures at the fifth Annual LEDs Magazine Sapphire Awards. The prestigious trophy was presented at the gala event on the eve of February 28th, 2019, at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Convention Center in Las Vegas during the Strategies in Light conference.

The Sapphire Awards recognize innovative companies and individuals in the LED-based SSL industry. Winners were selected by an independent panel of 27 judges chosen from industry and consultancy roles and are based on a product’s or solution’s viability for commercialization, reliable and efficient performance, contribution to profitability, and ease of use.

“Congratulations to all the winners who took home an award in their category. We’re proud to be amongst such talent and those who share a passion for advancements in lighting. SACO has always been a pioneer and strives to nurture a culture that allows for innovation. Receiving this award gives credit to our extraordinary team’s achievements.” said Jonathan Labbee, Executive Vice-President and COO of SACO.

Some examples of projects using the Shockwave V-Stick fixtures include the renowned Burj Khalifa in the UAE, Liberty Centre in Cincinnati, and the Volumetric Solar Equation in Canada.

“We’re extremely honored to be recognized by the lighting community for our commitment to creating stylish, compact, easily dissimulated video fixtures using high-performance LEDs that deliver uninterrupted lines of light. SACO designed this product line with lighting designers, architects and specifiers in mind, who are looking to achieve product reliability and project sustainability outcomes,” said Yanick Fournier, Vice-President of Business Development for SACO.
