The RIBA Stirling Prize 2011 shortlist is chosen by members of the RIBA Awards Group following visits to the 24 best RIBA Award winners.
The Stirling jury – Angela Brady, Sir Peter Cook, Alison Brooks, Dan Pearson and Hanif Kara – will visit the six shortlisted schemes, and then make their final decision on the winner on Saturday October 1, the day the prize is presented at Magna in Rotherham. The event was televised on BBC2 the following evening at 6pm.
