This is a recorded livestream of RIBA Gulf’s live lunch talk with Peter Jackson, FRIBA on the topic Sharjah Architecture: Punching above its weight, that took place on 24 June 2021.
This event consisted of an interview with Peter Jackson on his career, hosted by Azlina Bulmer, RIBA Director of International, a presentation on Sharjah Architecture in the United Arab Emirates and a Q&A session.
Peter Jackson is a founding member of the RIBA Gulf Chapter, and assisted its legal recognition in the UAE, and premises for the institute’s first Gulf office in Sharjah. He is also an Hon. Treasurer of the RIBA Gulf Chapter. At the end of November 2020, it was announced that Peter was one of eight members to become a RIBA Fellow for his contributions to architecture and the community.
