Stephen is the founder of the Architecture Social and VP Students & Associates on RIBA Council. He worked in the architecture industry at EPR Architects after completing a degree and diploma at the University of Westminster and Manchester School of Architecture. Stephen is part of the RIBA Future Architects Steering Group, an ambassador for the Architect’s Benevolent Society and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Oliver Lowrie, Ackroyd Lowrie
Oliver is an architect and co-founder of Ackroyd Lowrie, having previously spent 10 years working at Architype. Oliver’s practice, Ackroyd Lowrie, is one of the UK’s first practices to implement a new policy focused on transparency and inclusivity, and has introduced paid overtime for all staff. Oliver discusses his findings 12 months on from introducing paid overtime.

Karolina Lee and Priyansha Kamdar, Benham Architects
Karolina is an architect and Priyansha is a Part 1 Architectural Assistant, at Benham Architects in Cardiff. Priyansha took part in the RSAW Student Mentoring programme and was placed with Benham Architects before being offered a Part 1 placement with the practice. They explore how the pandemic has impacted the way we find work and the direct benefits of schemes like student mentoring.
