Rhino Architecture – How to Model Villa Ypsilon // In this tutorial, we will go over some basic tools and techniques in T-splines that will allow us to create this landscape house roof. The project was designed by Lassa Architects and the house got its name based on the unique Y shape base plan.

Architecture base plan was used to draw out reference geometry which was later used in combination with T-splines to get the desired slope. Once we got the correct slope, it was just about transforming it, modifying it and applying it to the existing surroundings. Some of the Rhino commands used were split, fillet, polyline etc.
