reSITE Small Talk | Michel Rojkind on Running and Cities

Architect Michel Rojkind takes to the streets for early-morning runs to watch a city awaken into a new day. He leverages his exercise routine as a means to learn about a city and develop new approaches and strategies in urban design and his own practices.

Two dozen reSITE 2018 ACCOMMODATE participants joined Michel on a run, jogging by Prague’s most iconic panoramas, buildings, parks, viewpoints, and river banks. Afterward, he spoke with reSITE’s founder and architect Martin Barry, to explain what “RUN WITH ROJKIND” means and how it helps him in his work as a designer and architect.

Michel Rojkind is the founder of Rojkind Arquitectos, an architecture studio based in Mexico City, Mexico. He is known for his designs such as Cineteca National, Tori Tori, Mercado Roma, and the stunning Foro Boca, a concert hall located in Veracruz, Mexico.
