Colin Curley is a landscape and architectural designer, and Senior Associate at Field Operations in New York City where he is currently leading the design of Sojourner Truth State Park, a transformation of a 500-acre post-industrial site along the banks of the Hudson River in Kingston, New York. His previous projects include the public realm design for the redevelopment of the Edison Power Plant in Boston and the formation of the Portage Cove Trail Framework Plan in Haines, Alaska, working collaboratively with the Chilkoot Indian Association, Alaska Arts Confluence, and Borough of Haines, Alaska.

Colin earned his B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia, and his Master of Architecture and Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, where his thesis work explored the alternative aesthetic and experiential potential of hyper-toxic industrial landscapes. He also manages research, graphic design, and production of LA+ Interdisciplinary Journal of Landscape Architecture, and guest-edited its 18th issue LA+ BEAUTY.
