The Academy of Art University offers fully online accredited undergraduate and graduate degree programs dating back to 2006 when it offered its first history and design studio courses in an online format. Now, all courses are available both online and onsite, and students may take either version of a course to fulfill their degree requirements. Through a continuous process of revisions and updates, we continue to learn and build upon what works and what doesn’t in the online environment. The webinar will present 10 basic points to keep in mind as programs switch to an online mode and potentially incorporate online learning as an integral aspect of the program. After an initial presentation, the organizers will offer a number of topics for elaboration based on audience input during the final 30 minutes of the program.
