Current Work is a lecture series featuring leading figures in the worlds of architecture, urbanism, design, and art.

Maurice Cox is the director of planning and development for the City of Detroit.

In his Current Work lecture, he discusses initiatives including: East Riverfront; The Joe Lewis Greenway; and Structures Adapted for Vital Enterprises in Detroit (SAVED).

The lecture is followed by a discussion with Mario Gooden, a principal at Huff + Gooden and an associate professor at Columbia University’s GSAPP.
