Architecture and Situated Technologies was a 3-day symposium presented by The Architectural League from October 19-21, 2006, that brought together researchers and practitioners from art, architecture, technology, and sociology to explore the emerging role of “situated” technologies in the design and inhabitation of the contemporary metropolis. Mark Shepard is a co-organizer of Architecture and Situated Technologies. He is an artist and architect and currently Assistant Professor of Architecture and Media Study at SUNY Buffalo, where he is a co-director of the Center for Virtual Architecture.
