Today I will show you how to make your signature digitally the easy way in Illustrator. It’s quite a straight forward process but it is so so effective. You can use your signature on any digital documents, whenever you want, and will hold the detail and texture of a normal signature created with a pen. After watching this Illustrator tutorial you will be able to make and save your signature digitally without the need of a Wacom Tablet.

First we look at how to turn your signature from ink on paper to a digital signature using Illustrator. It is fairly easy but there is a method to it.
You will need to take a picture of your signature on paper and then transfer that image to Illustrator, so that you are able to make your signature digitally.
From there we look at how to save the signature digitally for use on any kind of web document. I advise a PNG format to save your signature in Illustrator and then you can use it across the Adobe software programs.
