Artist Luther Price returns with his first performance in 8 years, “How Deep Is Your Love?”, a multi-media ice scream clown dance party at MoMA PS1. Revisiting his 1994 performance, “Scary Transformations”, Price will embody various clown personas, while a live-feed and source footage video installation fills the VW Dome, building to a confectionary climax sure to chill to the bone. The performance, commissioned specifically for this series, expands upon works from the permanent collection, which includes Price’s unique film prints “Home” and “Mother” (both 1999).
