Can design have a positive impact on a business? How do you rebrand a Beer Brewery? How do you grow a homegrown beer brewery and take it to retail?
This is episode 11 of Building A Brand, the season finale.
With all of the deliverables in Josh Hamilton’s hands, there’s one last thing Matthew and Ben have to get to him for the project to be complete – The Brand Style Guide. This document will give guidelines for any future designers working with Hamilton Family Brewery on how to properly execute the work Blind has done. Since Josh conceptualizes a lot of his own merchandise, signage, and labeling, this document will be invaluable to him. With the Brand Style Guide, Josh will know he’s always executing Hamilton’s brand in the best way possible.
After the Brand Style Guide is delivered, Josh and his crew will implement Blind’s work to change over the Tasting Room the night before revealing the new branding to their Rancho Cucamonga family. In a party that feels more like a backyard barbecue than a fancy reveal, Josh and Crysten will showcase their new logo and branding to Hamilton’s community and launch the next phase in the Brewery’s life. As Hamilton Family Brewery moves into the future, will Blind’s rebrand help them accomplish their goals of simplifying the logo and moving into retail? What will the public think of the change?
