The “Hyper Hut Pavilion” (Gramazio Kohler Research) is a robotically fabricated structure investigating the design and automatic assembly of interlocking timber connections. It was exhibited at this year’s Swiss Robotics Days in Lausanne at the NCCR Digital Fabrication booth. Researchers from ETH Zurich and EPFL were on site to inform visitors about the projects in the NCCR DFAB. Representatives of the start-ups MESH and SAEKI Robotics were also present.
This research was supported by the NCCR Digital Fabrication, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation.
