How do you explain what you do to potential clients? Writing a mission statement or defining your brand positioning is HARD!
Explaining what you do in a sentence is tough. It always comes out as a confusing jumble of jargon that means nothing to the other person.
Writing a mission statement is very difficult but keeping in mind these 2 basic concepts makes it easier.
First, who are your customers? Profile them– get specific.
Second, Figure out what problems they’re trying to solve?
Finally, explain what you do in those terms. Remember it’s not about you, it’s about what you can do for others.
