Heatworks redesigns the standard dishwasher to suit micro homes

Smart Home company Heatworks has released a countertop, internet-connected dishwasher, designed for use in micro homes.

Made in collaboration with design firm frog, the compact the Tetra dishwasher doesn’t require plumbing to work, and therefore can be used anywhere that has a standard electrical outlet.

In an attempt to “minimise the footprint of the historically large dishwasher,” the eco-friendly device is manually loaded with water, so that the user is aware of exactly how much is being used.

The dishwasher can hold up to two full place settings – including plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery. Or, alternatively, it can hold up to 10 plates, or 12 pint glasses.
