A new vinyl recording from Gilbert and George revisits the artists’ first mature work, “The Singing Sculpture” (1969). Here, the artists explain their first encounter with a recording of Flanagan and Allen’s Depression-era song “Underneath the Arches,” which would later become part of the work.
