Diane Kruger, Fatih Akin Q&A | MoMA FILM

“In the Fade” follows Katja (Diane Kruger) and how her life collapses after the death of her husband and son in a bomb attack. After the time of mourning and injustice, comes the time of revenge. Directed by Fatih Akin, the film was selected as Germany’s official submission to the Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film, and awarded the Best Actress Prize at the Cannes Film Festival for Diane Kruger.

Each year, MoMA Film combs through major studio releases and the top film festivals in the world to select and screen influential, innovative films made in the past 12 months that we believe will stand the test of time. See what’s playing: http://mo.ma/contenders
