24 Hours with Lady Pink on Super-8 | A DAY

For this series we sent artists a Super-8 camera
and a single roll of film and asked
them to document a day in their lives.

A finite amount of film. No playback.
What would they choose to record? This is what Lady Pink sent us.

Our occasional A Day series invites artists to document a 24-hour snapshot of their life, revealing ordinary, creative, and professional routines. Artist Lady Pink offers a glimpse into the rhythms of her life—equal parts playful, reflective, and creatively charged. Known for her groundbreaking work in the downtown NYC graffiti scene in the 1980s, and her bold public murals, she now creates from a colorful countryside studio where her pets roam freely. Her reel captures not just the artist at work but the joy, spontaneity, and community that shape her world.
