100 Day Studio: Karin Templin – 'Ten Mansion Blocks that Shook the Universe (or, at least London)'

Day 59 of the 100 Day Studio: The introduction of ‘flat living’ in 19th-century London was a response to an acute housing crisis and was a driving force in urban generation, the liberation of women, co-housing, live-work developments, the delivery of affordable housing, and council-led housing; themes that might sound a bit familiar today. Karin Templin focusses on ten mansion blocks that served as catalysts for fundamental changes in the development of London and which made it the city we know today.
