STUDIO FORMAFANTASMA is Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin, an Italian design duo based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Formafantasma has developed a coherent body of work characterised by experimental material investigations and explored issues such as the relationship between tradition and local culture, critical approaches to ecology and the significance of objects as cultural conduits.
The 2018 Work Marathon invited artists, sociologists, anthropologists, writers, musicians, architects, scientists and philosophers to address the complex and timely questions of work, labour, automation and leisure.
