Designed as a stylish and functional retreat for a retired couple in their 70s, this once run-down seaside apartment has been beautifully reimagined by interior designer Camille Delbecque of façon Camille. Inspired by the coastal surroundings, Delbecque blended Scandinavian minimalism with classical elegance, introducing thoughtful solutions to maximise light and storage. The transformation features a steel-and-fluted glass partition that brightens the bathroom, seamlessly integrated storage throughout, and a terracotta thread that ties the design together. The open plan living area features a convertible sofa with a swing arm lamp, a cosy reading nook with a built-in storage bench that doubles as a dining space and deep grey-green single wall kitchen. The compact but tranquil bedroom is adorned with soft grey wallpaper, two terracotta wall lights and a terracotta coloured ceiling.
