This video showcases Qatar’s Museum of Islamic Art designed by Chinese-american architect IM Pei.
The 376,740-square-foot museum is located by Doha Bay, Qatar, and features a five-storey-high domed atrium surrounded by eighteen galleries. The exterior of the museum is formed of cream-coloured limestone and features a large central courtyard that connects the galleries.
The museum reflects the diversity of Islamic art and collects, preserves and exhibits art pieces created between the 7th and 10th centuries from across the world.
