Holly Herndon and Mat Dryhurst: The Call | Serpentine

Taking inspiration from one of our oldest coordination technologies, choral singing, ‘The Call’ by artists Holly Herndon and Mat Dryhurst is an exhibition exploring what new rituals we might want to nurture for the age of AI.

In this film, Herndon, Dryhurst and the Serpentine Arts Technologies team speak on how the production of an AI model can be an artistic medium, why it’s important for groups to collectively own their data, and how visitors can interact with their AI model in the gallery.

‘The Call’ is on view at Serpentine North until 2 February 2025. Find out more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNlr7olF6rE
