London-based artist John Akomfrah has collaborated with LG OLED Art to present a five-screen film installation, on display at this year’s Frieze London.
Titled Becoming Wind, Akomfrah’s film has been reimagined for the art fair through the use of multiple LG OLED self-lit televisions.
The film explores the interconnecting themes of identity formation and the contemporary climate crisis and is presented across five OLED televisions designed to create an immersive viewing experience.
The installation is on show at Frieze London until 13 October in Regents Park.
