Glen Chamberlain of Chamberlain Architects was a lead architect in the Merri Green development in Northcote, with a range of townhouses and apartments that borders the Northcote golf course and Merri Creek. Designed as an alternative to the more traditional home, Merri Green proves you can have a sizeable, sustainable home in an apartment/townhouse setting.
The townhouses and apartments had an eco-luxe approach, with key sustainability principles, solar PV systems with Telsa batteries, VOC-free paint, sustainable and recycled timber, and more. It goes to show that luxury can still be warm and eco-conscious.
