I first show you how to create the bare essentials for the line art technique in Illustrator using a Wacom tablet, but you can use a mouse or laptop touchpad. You really do not even have to draw many lines to make the line art. I myself have not known about this cool line art technique in Illustrator for that long, but I am really happy to be sharing it today to my viewers because you can make line art with Illustrator that looks super cool easier than you might think.

From there I show you how to actually perform the actions to make the line art in Illustrator where we will be using the blend mode options that Adobe Illustrator has for us. Using the few lines that we draw with our Wacom Tablet or mouse / laptop touchpad, we then use the line art technique of specified steps as a blend mode in Illustrator. It sounds a lot more complicated that it actually is, and you will see that in the tutorial when you make your very own line art with Illustrator.

And then finally we move over to Photoshop to mock up a poster design to finish off this line art technique Illustrator tutorial. I feel that the poster design aspect of the tutorial is where you can really set off your artwork and showcase your amazing line art in a beautiful wonderful way!
