On architecture and tango | Lidea Hajjar | TEDxLAU

When you look at seemingly different fields, like architecture and dance, what do you see?

Lidea sees connection and similarity. In this talk, she gives us a short theoretical understanding of these common points that unite her two loves. You can also expect to see a breathtaking tango with her partner Charbel Khalil to the brilliant sounds of Antonio Agri.

Lidea Mechleb Hajjar is currently pursing a degree in Interior Architecture, but her ultimate passion remains the Tango!

As a mother of four, Lidea sometimes finds herself taking the same class with her own sons, and that’s just a glimpse into the life of this full-time caregiver, student, and tanguera.

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.

About TEDx

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
