Manual for Streets: Ten years on and into the future



Using streets to create places for both people and motor vehicles.
This is presented by Andrew Cameron an engineer and Director of Urban Design at WSP, with over 20 years’ experience prioritising place making. He advised the UK House of Commons Select Committees on Housing and Sustainable Communities and is co-author of national and international design guidance, including The Urban Design Compendium, Manual for Streets 1 and 2, Designing Streets (for the Scottish Government) and The Abu Dhabi Urban Street Design Manual. He is a Built Environment Expert for The Design Council CABE, and a Design Review Panel Member for MADE and OPUN. He has lectured on several Masters Degree courses and is a visiting lecturer at Kellogg College, Oxford University for their Masters in Sustainable Urban Development programme.
