How do you know when you should leave school or go to a different school to pursue design? What if you studied fine art but are concerned about how to make a living? Sometimes you start on one creative path only to find yourself down another.
Julia Wright originally went to Art Institute in Chicago to study fine art. Then she went to Art Center to study illustration. She did retail display design and construction for Urban Outfitters for 5 years and then decided to switch careers. After interning at Blind for 7 months, she started freelancing as a motion designer/animator.
