In today’s video, I’ll walk you through how we constructed this rendering I showcased as a part of my portfolio. If you haven’t seen it yet, you can check out ‘My portfolio that got me into BIG and OMA’ here: https://youtu.be/y-SHgrOCmCU
This is one of my favorite renders out there as it puts the viewers straight into the scene and speak so much about the projects and our aspirations. This walk through is full of nifty tips and tricks, especially on creating this super windy snow effect. So make sure to stick around for that.
This render is composed in four parts: background, foreground, building, effects. Each components of the rendering plays an important role in the final product, so take your time to find the right images, and try to enjoy the process as much as you can.
I would like to note that it’s also very important to have some one to get feedback from. I had the privilege to work with my partner Mark, who was extremely critical about composition and visual narrative, and I learned so much from him. Work with a partner if possible and constantly solicit feedback from your peers. On that note, drop me a link or tag us on social media for a chance to have your work reviewed on our channel.
