On January 11, 2012, The Architectural League presented a panel discussion among emerging architects and designers on the topic of pavilions, follies, and other small-scale, contemporary projects. In this video, Jing Liu and Florian Idenburg of SO – IL present “Pole Dance,” a temporary environment and multimedia installation at MoMA PS1, the “Flockr” pavilion in Beijing, and “Tricolonnade,” an interactive installation for the 2011 Shenzen Hong Kong Biennial.

Solid Objectives – Idenburg Liu (SO – IL) is an idea driven design office founded by Florian Idenburg and Jing Liu in 2008. The firm has worked on an array of projects ranging in scale from the master plan of a cultural campus in Shanghai, China to a series of prints for the Guggenheim Museum.
