Weixin Zhao: “Transitions”

This student video was created as part of the Master of Architecture course ARC3017: Thesis Research and Preparation taught by Professor John Shnier. In this graduate level studio, Professor Shnier directs students to use film as a creative and iterative medium to explore their thesis discourse and research.

“Transitions” was created by Master of Architecture thesis student Weizin Zhao who describes it as:

“Transition is defined as a moment allowing individuals to realize the change of environment. Regardless of formation, orientation, or transformation, human society has been developed for a long time as well as the geographic land. We might not be able to realize the change by the length of time nor the scale of range. But we can create some moments to trigger the mind to perceive the subtle change in order to cognize a complete image.”
