In this tutorial, we will cover how to create a wavy wall in Grasshopper. The final output will be based on the points that are randomly positioned on the wall. Their location can be adjusted by the slider Seed (iteration number). Once we position points, they will be used as attractors to push away the control points of the horizontal curves. Modified curves will be guide rails placed in Sweep2 in order to create a carving effect.
The extended version of this tutorial is going to be a separate video that’s going to cover how to combine sine function within mathematical expression with attractors, either curves or points. Also, you will learn how to exclude control points that are closer to the edge in order to keep the final rectangular shape.
