In this tutorial EPISODE 04, we’ll learn how to create two amazing abstract, geometric swirl designs in Adobe Illustrator using the Transform Effects and Blending Options. They resemble optical illusion art and abstract logo-style compositions.
► First Design:
We start with the Ellipse Tool to create a smooth curve.
Adding a thick stroke, we apply the Transform Tool to create a dynamic effect by adjusting its attributes.
► Second Design:
We use the Ellipse Tool to create two shapes.
Using the Pathfinder Tool, we subtract the top surface.
Applying the Blend Tool, we achieve a smooth transition.
Finally, the Transform Tool adds an eye-catching effect
In our previous video, we explored text effects using the Transform and 3D Revolve options to create geometric and pattern-based text designs. In this tutorial, we apply similar simple yet effective techniques to design these stunning abstract compositions.
